MALE – AMERICAN BULLDOG – LARGE – DOB 13/12/16
It’s Iggy here and I’m looking for a home where I can lounge around and be a couch potato! When I first came to APS, I was pretty confused. I came from a home that loved me and didn’t want to give me up, however you all know what the rental market is like at the moment. I was quite stand offish and it took me awhile to realise that I am safe and loved here too. I started to let me cheekiness show, I am super playful (I may look tough but teddies are my fav!) and love a good ol’ belly rub. I can be strong on the lead when I want, but for the most part I walk like an angel. I am housetrained, chill and well behaved but my stubborn side from my breed does show occasionally. I am looking for someone experienced in my breed and with large breed doggos so they know how to look after me in the best possible way. I am still a little apprehensive about new people so I may need to get to know you over a few meets, I also have a number of APS aunties that will want to make sure you’re the pawfect fit for me!
Here’s what I need!
- Experienced owner (preferably in American Bulldogs)
- Strong owner who can give me structure
- Endless supply of teddies
- Could potentially be homed with the right female dog pending a meet
- Must meet with our Behaviourist
- Could be homed to fulltime workers
