Hi! Huckleberry is the name!  I have lived at APS all of my life but I still have a small hope of experiencing a ‘furrever home’ to live out my twilight years.  I’ve had a happy life here and I’m extremely popular with the lady felines of APS, I am especially attached to my special lady ‘Sunda’ and if I am to be adopted we must go together.  As a senior cat (13 yrs old) I have specific requirements that I will need for my potential new home.  As I have always been an indoor/outdoor cat I will need a home that has a fully secure outdoor enclosure, so I can enjoy the luxury of a warm indoor life but still enjoy basking in the sunshine with the afternoon breeze in my fur.  I will need a quiet home (no children) and would ideally be the best companion for an older couple/person.  Please understand,  I am not a lap cat and I don’t like to be picked up but I am friendly and Sunda and I would make the perfect addition to any multi cat household (given a slow introduction of course!).  If you think you might be my forever human please email your EOI to cats@apswa.asn.au
